OFFICIAL SCHOOL UNIFORM

As from January 2014, Rand Park Primary will have a school jersey with a school badge embroidered on it.  Plain navy blue jerseys will no longer be allowed.  This item will be available from our stockists soon.

COMPULSORY SCHOOL FEES – 2013

The school fee tariff is R5 900 per learner per year, and may be paid over 10 months.  Payment options are as follows:

Full payment at the beginning of the year; or Three pro-rata payments payable at the end of Term 1 2 and 3; or ten monthly instalments of R590 beginning January with the final (10th) instalment due end of October.

ALL PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE PAID IN FULL BY THE END OF OCTOBER.  AN URGENT APPEAL IS MADE TO ALL PARENTS WHO ARE IN ARREARS TO PAY THE FEES BY THIS TIME.  ACCOUNTS IN ARREARS WILL BE HANDED OVER TO OUR DEBT-COLLECTION AGENCY FROM THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER.

40 YEARS

As the school is 40 YEARS old this year I would like to ask parents to support any initiative that we might have in order to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

CLOSING TIME FOR FRIDAYS – TERM 4

As from today the school will close every Friday at 13:30 for the Senior Phase (Grade 4 – 7).  This is due to the fact that we are not writing Cycle Tests this term.  The Foundation Phase will close at 13:00 as usual.  Please note that detention for Senior Phase will therefore start at 13:30 and finish at 15:00.

SCHOOL LEAVERS

Should your child be leaving the school at year end (grade 1 – 6) please forward a letter to this effect to the class teacher urgently.

AGM

The AGM will take place on Wednesday 13 November at 19:00 in the school hall.  A letter with all the details will follows.

Computer related expenses R3 000,  hardware/maintenance/plumbing R513, office stationery R326, printing R1 756, transport R7 458, trips and shows R6 990.

TRAVELING BOOKSHOP

Will be visiting us on Tuesday 15 October from 10:30 – 15:00 and on Wednesday 16 October from 8:00 – 14:30 in the school hall.  They have a huge variety of brand new top quality books at amazing prices.
