Learners should understand school and teaching thus; what is offered in the class should be seen as a valuable gift, not a hard duty -Albert Einstein

EDUCATION IS SERIOUS

The above quote illustrates the attitude required by all learners to ensure academic and lifelong success. Too many learners regard the school environment as a chore
and approach their work with a negative attitude. It’s not possible for every lesson, every interaction, every school day to be exciting and fun-filled. This is not always the nature of the task at school or in the world of work. The life skill lies in continuing to be positive and to do your best when things are not to your liking.

DETENTION

An appeal to parents to please check homework and homework diaries on a daily basis. The learners have work to do on a daily basis even if it is doing revision for the Group Test. I am already signing TOO many detention slips for poor work ethic or disruptive behaviour. When a detention slip is produced at home I would appreciate it
if the matters on the slip is dealt with by the parents.
Thank you for your co-operation in this regard.
