SCHOOLING IS SERIOUS BUSINESS

We are at that time of the year when the budget AND THE SCHOOL FEES for next year are being compiled.  The level of payment of this year’s fees has a direct bearing on the amount of school fees to be charged next year.  It’s therefore disappointing to note that, at this moment in time, our school fee collection is 5% down on last year’s total.  I make an earnest appeal to all parents who still owe fees, large and small, to meet their financial obligation to the school ASAP.  If not, you are the persons directly responsible for undermining the efforts of the school to provide quality education to all our children.  Payment of fees must be a priority in your budget.  I can never allow non-fee paying parents to simply walk away from their obligation, an obligation entrenched by LAW and I assure the vast majority of fee paying parents, that I will vigorously pursue those who have not paid.
