EDUCATION

Parents need to push their children to achieve to the maximum of their potential.  If this is done on a regular basis, children begin to automatically deliver their best efforts at all times.  This then translates into a sound work ethic.  A sound work ethic is what every future employer will be looking for in your child.  Start now to make your child employable in the future.

DETENTIONS

We are in the third week of school and some learners have already brought to my office two detention slips (10 misdemeanours).  This is because these learners do not do their work at home, nor do they finish work in class.  They are disruptive in class and do not concentrate.  If you have signed two detention slips already please have a serious word with your child.  It is unacceptable behaviour.  Thank you for your co-operation.

INFORMATION EVENINGS

A sincere thanks to all parents who have attended the various info evenings.  I do hope that the information shared was informative.

SPORT PARTICIPATION

Fever and fewer learners are taking part in the cricket at our school.  We have just spent R200 000 in upgrading the cricket facilities and in some age groups we can’t field two teams.  Please encourage your son to come and play cricket.  Cricket can be a great way to boost self esteem and improve self-confidence.  Cricket will teach them about goal setting and team work – all of which can boost self confidence.
