END OF TERM 2
As we reach the end of yet another busy Term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given both to your children and to the school. I would like to ask parents to help us make the new school Term start well. Learners and staff have been involved in a wide range of events and activities and once again we have enjoyed and celebrated many successes.
I wish you all a peaceful and joyful winter holiday and look forward to seeing you all refreshed in July.
PARENTS EVENING
Please note that Parents Evening will take place on THURSDAY 25 JULY from 17:00 – 19:00. The Parents Evening will be by INVITATION ONLY! For Grade 4 – 7 learners. Parents Evening for Foundation Phase will continue as usual but will also take place on THURSDAY 25 JULY from 17:00 – 19:00. Reports will be handed out on Friday 26 July.
COMPULSORY SCHOOL FEES – 2013
The school fee tariff is R5 900 per learner per year, and may be paid over 10 months. Payment options are as follows:
Full payment at the beginning of the year; or Three pro-rata payments payable at the end of Term 1 2 and 3; or ten monthly instalments of R590 beginning January with the final (10th) instalment due end of October.
Many thanks to those parents who have already made their contribution towards the school fees. It is greatly appreciated!

40 YEARS
As the school is 40 YEARS old this year I would like to ask parents to support any initiative that we might have in order to celebrate this auspicious occasion. The raffle is taking place this Term and books have already been distributed to learners. Last year’s raffle was a great success and I once again ask for your support with this initiative. INTERHOUSE ATHLETICS
The annual Interhouse Athletics will take place on Wednesday 24 July 2013.
ANNUAL NATIONAL ASSESSMENTS
The 2013 cycle of Annual National Assessment will be administered in all PUBLIC and designated independent schools from 10 – 13 September. During this period all learners in Grades 1 – 6 will write nationally set tests in English and Mathematics. The results will be used to report progress related to achieving goals set in the Action Plan 2014, towards Schooling 2025. Further information to follow.
