EDUCATION
The quote above applies. You, as a parent cannot and should not endeavour to protect your child from all the bumps along the road of life. They need to take responsibility for their work (or lack thereof). We already have learners whose homework and class work is not done. If you are the parent of such a child please have a stern word with him/her. You need to take additional, punitive steps against your child. A detention will not be enough. It is, after all, only the second week of the year. Similarly, please do pot bring things to school that the child has left at home. The child must quickly learn that you will not fetch and carry for them. They must accept the consequences of their oversights.
ANNUAL INTERHOUSE GALA
Will be held on Wednesday 29 January. A letter with full details was distributed to learners today. Please read it carefully. Attendance by all learners is compulsory. Parents are encouraged to attend. Please come and support your children.
