Yet another year has flown by. I continue to be extremely proud to be a part of our fine school, it’s willing learners, dedicated educators, hardworking secretaries and cleaning staff, co-operative parents and supportive and professional Governing Body. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all role-players most sincerely for their varied and valued input during the course of this year. The success of the school and its learners in 2016 can only be certain if all continue in this vein next year.

STATIONERY PACKS

This is an urgent request to Foundation Phase learners who have not paid for their stationery packs for 2016. PLEASE SEND THE MONEY TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY.

COMPULSORY SCHOOL FEES – 2015

Your compulsory school fee commitment of R7 400 per learner for 2015 was due in full by Friday 30 October. Any school fee account not settled in full has now been handed over and legal action instituted.

Payments may be made in cash, by cheque or via electronic banking. The school’s banking details are as follows: Standard Bank, Northcliff, Current Account Number 002954494, Branch Code 006305. Please use your child’s full name as reference.

SPONSORSHIP

Would those of you wishing to make a cash sponsorship donation (to assist indigent parents/learners to pay a portion of the 2015 school fees), please ensure that you indicate clearly on the cheque, deposit slip, Internet banking or envelope, that the amount is for SPONSORSHIP.

The staff would be most grateful for the donation of these items for next year.

LEARNER REPORTS

Please note that learners are to collect their reports between 7:30 and 9:00, in their school uniform from their register teachers. There are a number of important inserts in the Learner Report envelopes. Parents must please read them careful.

TEXT BOOKS

Text books will not be issued to learners next year – 2016 if they did not return ALL their text books this year – 2015. Missing/lost text books require a payment of R150 per book, to the school.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Sincere thanks to those parents who attended the Christmas Pageant. Once again, it was a huge success. Thank you to the Grade 3 learners and educators. We also collected money for our charity drive and sincere thanks goes to all the parents who contributed, we were able to make up Christmas party boxes for the learners at Blaire Atholl school. Your contributions will make some hearts extremely happy this Festive Season

1st HONEYDEW SCOUTS:  Are urgently looking for new cubs aged 7 – 10 years old. They learn a lot about outdoor life, responsibility, discipline and go on fun camps.
