RE: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Rescheduled to 10 November 2015
Notices of the Annual General Meeting which have been included in recent newsletters, and my previous letter in this regard, distributed earlier in October, refer.
At the first attempt to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 October 2015, a quorum of 15% of the parent body required in terms of Gauteng Regulations was not reached. Consequently, the AGM must be rescheduled. As first announced in the first notice sent earlier, this letter serves as formal notice that the Annual General Meeting of Rand Park Primary School Governing Body has been rescheduled to Tuesday 10 November, 2015, at 19:00 in the school hall.
Please note that no quorum is required for this rescheduled meeting; a simple majority of the eligible voting parents present will constitute acceptance of any resolutions passed at the meeting. I encourage you to please make an effort to attend the AGM: During this meeting we present and vote on the Budget for 2016, and on School Fees for 2016.
