SUCCESS

At school (and in the world of work), it is attention to the little things that build towards success.  Learners must appreciate from an early age that consistent, on-going attention to all aspects of their schoolwork is the recipe for academic success.  Classwork, homework, projects, tests, tasks all need to be tackled and dealt with in good time.  Attention to detail is important.  Parents have a great part to play in ensuiring that their children are organised and that the required work is being done timeously.

ROAD SAFETY

Our children are crossing the road on a daily basis when they are being picked up after school.  Please adhere to the speed limit in Medlar and Boekenhout Street AT ALL TIMES.  Your co-operation in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please pay special attention to the pedestrian crossings as I would not like our learners to be injured.

COMMUNICATION

Research shows that children do better in school when parents talk often with teachers and become involved in the school.  Therefore, parents should always communicate with the class teacher first.  After all, the teacher knows the child better than anyone else in the school.  If that fails talk to the Head of Department and lastly the Deputy Principal or the Principal!  This will ensure that there is a partnership between parent and teacher.  Teachers appreciate knowing that parents are concerned with their child’s progress.

MY SCHOOL CARD

Please remember to support our business partners on a regular basis.  We had raised R16 752.71 at the end of April.  Thanks to all participating parents.
