EDUCATION IS SERIOUS
You as a parent cannot and should not endeavour to protect your child from all the bumps along the road of life. They need to take responsibility for their work (or lack thereof). We have learners attending detention for homework and class work not done. If you are the parent of such a child, the detention is not enough. You need to take additional, punitive steps against your child. Similarly, please do not bring things to school that the child has left at home. The child must quickly learn that you will not fetch and carry for them. They must accept the consequences of their oversights.
CLASS PHOTOS
Class photos are available from register teachers at R30.00 per photo. The deadline for orders is Friday, 30 August.
TRAFFIC VIOLATION/ROAD RAGE
Parents are yet again reminded to exercise extreme care on the roads surrounding the school in the mornings and afternoons. Please do not put yourself in the unbearable situation of having to try and explain the unthinkable to another parent whose child has come to harm at your hands. A request is made to parents to refrain from abusive language and inflammatory action towards other parents dropping learners. Your co-operation in this matter will be appreciated.
COMPULSORY SCHOOL FEES – 2013
The school fee tariff is R5 900 per learner per year, and may be paid over 10 months. Payment options are as follows:
Full payment at the beginning of the year; or Three pro-rata payments payable at the end of Term 1 2 and 3; or ten monthly instalments of R590 beginning January with the final (10th) installment due end of October.
An urgent request to all parents in arrears to pay ASAP.

A big and sincere thank you to all the parents and learners who have contributed to our raffle initiative. The response has been overwhelming.
