EDUCATION IS SERIOUS
Perseverance is an integral part of success. Parents must encourage their children to persevere even in difficult times. Perseverance builds character.
SCHOOL CODE OF CONDUCT
All learners are to abide by the provisions of the Code of Conduct and it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure compliance. Copies of the Code are available from the school secretary.
Parents must ensure that they provide the school upon request, with the original birth certificate of the child, particularly at the time of the initial enrolment into the school system.
Learners must never do anything to jeopardise the fine name of the school, by word or deed.
Educators must ensure that they adhere to the Code of Conduct set out by the official educator registering body/authority, i.e. South African Council of Educators.
Learners undertake to conform to normal, acceptable standards of personal cleanliness and neatness.
Should your child be leaving the school at year end (grade 1 – 6), please forward a letter to this effect to the class teacher urgently.
Rand Park Primary celebrated our 40th birthday on Saturday, 26 October 2013. It was a huge success and great fun was had by all. I would like to thank all the parents that contributed items as well as cash donations towards the day! It was greatly appreciated. To all the parents and staff members who assisted on the day, thank you for all your help and hard work.

Learners who are waiting for transport will not be allowed to loiter around outside the school; they will have to remain inside the school perimeter until their transport arrives.
CLEANER’S CHRISTMAS HAMPER
It is a tradition at our school that parents contribute towards a Christmas Hamper for our cleaning staff as a way of conveying to them our sincere thanks for the wonderful work they do during the course of the year. It will be greatly appreciated if each learner could bring to school one or more non perishable items as a contribution.
