PARENTS’ EVENING
Thank you to all parents who attended the Foundation Phase Parents’ Evening.
Parents’ Evening for the Senior Primary (Grade 4 – 7) will be held on Thursday 31st July from 17:00 – 19:00 and this will be by invitation only. Reports will be handed out to all Senior Primary learners on the 1st August.

To Mahela Moodaley who represented Central Gauteng in Judo and has achieved a gold medal in the SA Championships and therefore will be awarded his South African colours.
SCHOOL TIMES
School will start at 7:30 EVERYDAY.
On Wednesday and Friday school will close at 13:30 (grades 4 – 7). PUNCTUALITY in the morning is essential for all learners. THREE misdemeanours will result in a detention.

COMPULSORY SCHOOL FEES – 2014
The school fee tariff is R6 500 per learner per year and may be paid over 10 months. Payment options are as follows:
Full payment at the beginning of the year; or three pro-rata payments payable at the end of Term 1, 2 and 3; or ten monthly instalments of R650 (beginning January with the final (10th) instalment due end of October.

INTERHOUSE ATHLETICS
Our annual Interhouse Athletic Day will take place on Wednesday 30 July. Please join us on Wednesday in supporting the learners. A letter with the relevant information was distributed to learners on Wednesday 23 July.
SCHOOL CODE OF CONDUCT
All learners are to abide by the provisions of the Code of Conduct and it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure compliance. Copies of the Code are available from the school secretary.
SCHOOL RULES
Hair regulations must be strictly adhered to:
Girls – Hair that is shoulder length or longer must be plaited or tied up. The fringe must be above the eyebrows and should not obscure vision. Girls are not permitted to colour or tint their hair. Only a few simple blue or white clips, bands, scrunches, ribbons, elastics or hair ornaments may be worn. Gel, mousse, etc. is not permitted.
Boys – Hair must be neatly trimmed. No hair is to extend below the natural hairline in the neck. The fringe must be short and not obscure vision. Gel, mousse, etc. is not permitted. Hair may not be tinted/dyed. Outlandish (flavour of the month) hairstyles are not permitted, e.g. step cut, undercut, wedge, afro, Rastafarian, dreadlocks, Mohawk, spiky, high tops, etc.
