EDUCATION

The school rules form a serious and integral part of successful schooling and the acquisition of life skills.  The rules ensure the safety of all learners and also ensure that learning takes place in a meaningful, safe and structured manner.  Society at large requires that the population adheres to the rules of society whether we like it or not.  This critical lesson is learned at school.  It’s a requirement, therefore, that all parents ensure that their children adhere to ALL THE SCHOOL RULES.

BULLYING – NB!!

A reminder to parents that Rand Park Primary has a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to any form of bullying; emotional and physical.  We endeavour to practice UBUNTU on a daily basis. I do however, need to inform parents that if bullying is reported to me in any form, I shall phone you straight away to fetch and take the learner home for the rest of the day.  Please address this serious matter with your child as we are desperately trying to eradicate bullying at Rand Park Primary School.  Thank you for your co-operation.

GROUP TESTS

Tuesday 4 March:

Grade 7:  EMS

The Tuesday Group Test is very important as it makes up in Grade 4 – 6, 25% and in Grade 7, 60% of the term/year mark.  Learners must attend school on Tuesdays to write the weekly Group Test.

SAFETY & SECURITY

A request is made to parents who sit outside the school waiting for their children to please keep your doors locked and your windows closed if possible.  We’ve had one or two incidents and this request is for your own safety.

TRAFFIC VIOLATION/ROAD RAGE

Parents are yet again reminded to exercise extreme care on the roads surrounding the school in the mornings and afternoons.  Please do not put yourself in the unbearable situation of having to try and explain the unthinkable to another parent whose child has come to harm at your hands.  A request is made to parents to refrain from abusive language and inflammatory action towards other parents dropping learners.  Your co-operation in this matter will be appreciated.

MY SCHOOL CARD

Please remember to support our business partners on a regular basis. We have received R9 000,63 this year.
