As the school is 40 YEARS old this year I would like to ask parents to support any initiative that we might have in order to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

The 2013 cycle of Annual National Assessment will be administered in all PUBLIC and designated Independent schools from 10 – 13 September.  During this period, all learners in Grades 1 – 6 will write nationally set tests in English and Mathematics.  The results will be used to report progress related to achieving goals set in the Action Plan 2014, towards Schooling 2025. A letter to parents was distributed this week.

Sincere thanks to all parents who contributed to this colourful occasion.  The flowers, posies, pot plants, etc. have been donated to various Senior Citizen homes in our area.

This will take place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th September from 18:30 – 20:00.  Entrance will be R10 per person due to the fact that we would like to upgrade the music room.  Seats will not be allocated but will be on a first come first serve basis.  Tickets can be bought from the office, during BOTH BREAKS from Monday 9 September.

Extra Murals are finished for the term, unless otherwise advised by the specific coaches or teachers.

Rand Park ran against FDR, Northcliff and Trinity and came second.

All learners are to abide by the provisions of the Code of Conduct and it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure compliance.  Copies of the Code are available from the school secretary.

Learners undertake to refrain from and report any acts of vandalism or any other damage to or misuse of school property.

Educators must ensure that they endeavour to plan a flexible work programme that will, as far as is practicable address the divergent needs, interests and abilities of the learners.
